PACK FORMAT

Sachet or stick pack: which format fits your product?

A practical starting point for comparing single-dose pack shapes, filling needs and production goals.

Start with the product

The product's flow, viscosity, sensitivity and target fill amount affect how it should be dosed and sealed. Powders, granules and liquids each need a suitable filling method, so format selection should begin with a real sample.

Compare the pack

A sachet provides a broad face for product information and can suit many seal styles. A stick pack is narrow and often chosen for convenient single servings. The best option also depends on film, opening experience, pack dimensions and the way the packs will be displayed or shipped.

Confirm the line

Before specifying a machine, share the desired fill amount, pack dimensions, material, target output and any downstream packing needs. A sample test helps confirm the dosing and sealing approach.
